Please read these terms and policies carefully before placing an order or engaging with De Marquée services.
Last Updated: July 2026Every De Marquée timepiece is crafted to international luxury standards. Our policies safeguard your purchase, delivery, warranty, and complete ownership peace of mind.
Each new De Marquée watch purchased from our Site or an authorised retailer is covered by a limited international warranty for 2 years from the original retail purchase date, subject to proof of purchase and the terms below.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship present during normal intended use. At our option and subject to applicable law, we may inspect, repair, replace a component, replace the Product with the same or an equivalent model, or provide another legally required remedy.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and ageing; cosmetic scratches, dents, fading or plating wear; accidental damage; impact; misuse; negligence; theft or loss; fire; chemicals; magnets; improper storage; failure to follow instructions; water damage caused by an open or improperly secured crown, damaged seals, operation under water or use beyond the stated rating; battery depletion; strap or bracelet wear; unauthorised opening, modification, polishing, servicing or parts; or damage caused by a third-party repairer.
Leather, textile and similar straps, spring bars, batteries, coatings, finishes, crystals damaged by impact, gaskets and other items subject to normal wear are not covered unless the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect.
Contact info@demarqueewatch.com before shipping the watch. Provide proof of purchase, serial or limited-edition number, photographs or video, and a detailed description. We may request diagnostic steps or inspection. Products sent without authorisation may be returned.
Unless mandatory law or written confirmation states otherwise, the customer is responsible for securely delivering the Product to our designated service location using insured, trackable shipping. We will normally cover standard return shipping after an approved warranty repair. Any request to reimburse inbound shipping must include a valid carrier receipt and is subject to applicable law and our written approval. Customs charges, taxes, insurance upgrades and unauthorised shipping costs are not automatically reimbursable.
If inspection shows that the issue is not covered, we may provide a repair estimate. No chargeable work will be performed without approval. Storage or return-shipping charges may apply if an estimate is declined or the Product is not collected, where permitted by law and after reasonable notice.
Service parts may be new, refurbished or functionally equivalent and may differ slightly in appearance because of production changes, ageing or the character of natural materials. Replaced parts become our property where permitted by law.
Water resistance is not permanent and can decline with age, impact, crown use and gasket condition. We recommend periodic pressure testing, particularly before water exposure. A watch should never be operated under water unless its design and instructions expressly permit it.
Mechanical and quartz watches may show normal rate variation within the movement maker’s technical tolerance and depending on power reserve, position, temperature, magnetism and wearing habits. Normal variation is not necessarily a defect.
The warranty may follow the watch during the original warranty period if the claimant provides valid original proof of purchase and the serial number is intact, unless local law or a specific authorised-retailer programme states otherwise.
Please contact info@demarqueewatch.com with your order number, contact details, a clear description and supporting photographs or documents. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and provide a substantive response or progress update within 10 business days, although complex carrier, customs, technical or third-party investigations may take longer. We will seek a fair and prompt resolution. Nothing in this section limits your right to contact an applicable consumer-protection authority or pursue a remedy available under mandatory law.
